The challenge and our approach
Flexible currency exchange across ATM models and device types, in two operating models.
On cash recyclers, customers buy and sell currency at the terminal: foreign currency goes in, the exchange engine applies the rate, local cash comes out. On cash-out ATMs, Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) lets a foreign cardholder choose to be charged in their own currency. In both cases rates, transaction rules and reporting are managed centrally.
